"Eric Draven and his fiance are fighting tenant eviction in a bad neighborhood in the city. A gang comes along to kill him and rape/kill his fiance. They succeed. A year later. Eric Draven, along with the help of a crow that carries people back and forth across death, comes back for revenge with instant healing, super strength and the ability to snatch moving knives of of the air.
