Review Summaries
"Basically a series of several short stories describing events/missions in the lifetime of a single spy/agent Otto Mcgavin. With his mind altered he is forced to kill and cheat to protect the interests of Earth across many planets, while he himself is a gentle person at the start of the book. He only remembers his 'sins' under hypnosis in the parts of the book bridging between stories. Fairly bleak....."
Andrew Banks, Resident Joe Haldeman Scholar
