"Two slacker dudes from Southern California with dreams of rock stardom are doomed to fail high school if they do not complete a report on time. A mysterious stranger from the future informs them that they have a destiny to fulfill and to help them, he gives them a time travelling phone booth, which they use to bring historical figures and babes from the past to their high school. There is much culture clash humor between the dudes in the past and the historical personages finding their way around mid 80's Southern California suburban culture. There is also some incredibly clever use of time travel as a plot device."
