Review Summary
In this book Dion and Rhom are on their coming of age journey. Yet everything goes array and they then come across a group of people who are trying to save their family members, from raiders who kidnapped them. They save them yet find out a dangerous secret that may change the tides of the uncoming future.
Avi, Resident Scholar

Dion, a healer, had discovered the telepathic human-lupine bond by accident. Now, the link that she shared with the wolf, Gray Hishn, filled her mind with all the senses of the wolfpack. But Dion never guessed how strong that bond with Gray Hishn could be, or what kind of power it could wield until she found herself lost in the wilderness, with angry slavers at her heels and war on the horizon. Suddenly she and her fellow travelers were fighting for their lives in the snowy winter wastes, where the wolves were their only guides, the greatest secret of the Ancients their only salvation...and Dion their only hope to survive.
