An asteroid the size of Texas is on a collison course with Earth. As smaller fragments impact around the world, NASA sends up a team of deep-core drillers with one mission: drill a hole 800 feet into the asteroid's crust and drop a H-bomb there.

Bruce Willis leads a team of drill experts, including rebellious Ben Affleck, on a NASA mission to destroy a massive asteroid headed for Earth. Comic-book adventure, but excellently crafted.
