Review Summary
A new, brilliant tactician (called Grand Admiral Thrawn) has seized control of the Imperial fleet, and is directing it extremely effectively against the New Republic. As an effort to further the war, Thrawn attempts to control an evil Jedi Master. To do this, he must capture Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa Solo and her unborn twins.
William Hamilton, Resident Scholar

Leia is pregnant with twins. An Imperial General is in command. A Jedi wants Luke, Leia and her children.

The continuing story of our heroes of the Rebel Alliance against the evil Galatic Empire. Set five years after Return of the Jedi, Zahn shows us the Empire is still alive and kicking and Thrawn takes over where Vader and the Emperor left off. Part one of a three part story, it'll leave you wanting more!
Melissa Cole, Resident Scholar

This is the first of the Grand Admiral Thrawn trilogy. The Grand Admiral gathers cloaking technology to use in a raid to steal New Republic warships. In the meantime, he recruits the services of a crazy cloned Jedi, who, in return for his services, demands that Thrawn hands over Luke and Leia to him. Thrawn sends the Nogri, his death commandoes, in repeated attempts to capture them, but all he gets are dead Nogri.
