Review Summary
Bruce Willis lays Korben Dallas, a retired space fighter turned flying cab driver living in New York in the year 2257. When the world is threatened by an ancient evil (an intelligent, homicidal ball of fire named Mr Shadow in space) the President is forced to ask Dallas to help Vito Corneilius (a priest of an ancient rare order played by Ian Holm) to find the four elements (stones that, when put together with the mysterious Fifth Element, create the ultimate weapon to defeat evil) before the evil business man Zorg (played by Gary Oldman) who has been recruited to get the stones by Mr Shadow. While driving his cab Korbin meets Leeloo (Milla Jovovich), a half naked, foriegn woman who crashes through the roof of his cab whilst being chased by the police. He rescues her and takes her to Corneilius who tells Korbin that Leeloo is the Fifth Element. Leeloo informs Corneilius that the guardians of the stones gave them to Diva Plavalaguna, an alien opera singer, for safe keeping and Leeloo must meet her in Floston Paradise, a Hawaii like planet, where the Diva is performing in concert. Leeloo, Korbin (who is falling in love with Leeloo), Cornielius and Korbin's new friend crazy radio DJ Ruby Rhod (Chris Tucker) must battle to save the stones and the world from Zorg (also on his way to Floston Paradise), his ugly alien bounty hunters and Mr Shadow.

Bruce Willis is charged with finding the Five Elements that can save the world from destruction by a massive stellar mass of pure Evil. It has a thin plot but overwhelming production quality and frantic pace throughout.
Artemis, Resident Scholar

Bruce Willis is a retired military officer who gets pulled into a series of events when Milla Jovovich lands in his cab. He starts falling in love with her and soon is sought out by the military to save Earth by retrieving 4 stones by the time 'Evil' reaches Earth.
Xenos Existo, Resident Scholar

An enourmous planet-like entity is hurtling towards Earth bent on destruction, and the only ones who can save the planet are a retired soldier-turned-taxi driver, a priest and his assistant, a radio show host, and the Fifth Element. (earth, wind, fire, water, Lilu.)
