| Review Summary |
Irena, a girl who grew up in foster care, goes to New Orleans in search of her brother Paul. There she meets Oliver, the curator for the zoo, who's been helping track a black leopard on a killing spree.
Irena and Oliver fall in love, but something holds her back.
It's then that she meets Paul and he explains that he is the leopard and can't morph back into a man until he kills. He then tells her that she is the same way and the only way to stop it is if they mate, but she refuses.
Paul attacks Oliver but is killed by his friend.
All alone, Irena runs away. But, a dream about Paul prompts her to return. She makes love to Oliver and then morphs into a black leopard and flees.
Oliver tracks her to his cabin in the swamp where she's killed a man and morphed back into a girl.
Irena prompts Oliver to make love to her again before she morphs into the leopard and disappears forever.
However, Oliver ties her to the bed and when she morphs he captures her and puts her in his zoo.
