Review Summary
The teenage wizard, Harry Potter, is in his fourth year at Hogwarts. Before he returns to school, he goes with his friends--Ron, Ron's family, and Hermione--to the Quidditch World Cup. After the Quidditch game, Death Eaters wreak havoc at the campsite that Harry was staying at. This is the first of many events that change Harry's life forever. When returning to school, Harry's headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, tells the student body that Hogwarts will be participating in the Triwizard Tournament. This tournament is held to test selected students'--or champions'--magical ability. Two other schools are also participating. The tournament has three tasks which are too difficult for students under the age of 17 to participate in. Harry is only 14 so it was a shock to all when the Goblet of Fire selects Harry to be the fourth champion. The school is in uproar, but Dumbledore decides that Harry has to compete. Now Harry faces the ultimate challenge. He encounters dragons, puzzles, publicity, friction between his friends and peers, his first crush, and a giant maze. Even more deadly is his encounter with Voldemort.
