Review Summary
Eric Banyon has just returned from a long sojourn in Underhill where he has learned to harness his bardic powers fully and wants to go back to Julliard to finish up his formal education even though he is now a fully trained Bard. Through eleven magic he no longer has to worry about money and the many years that he has spent Underhill has allowed anyone that might wonder about him to give up.

Yet all isn't well because a powerful Unseleighe Sidhe Lord apparently has designs on the city even though elves hate cold iron. The Sidhe Lord Aerune is further drawn to the city because of talents that are suddenly apprearing due to the activating power of a new drug that the Black Labs has developed.

Eric must unite with a old love/enemy from his past if he has a chance to defeat Lord Aerune and somehow keep the Lord from creating a nexus in New York and destroying the city. This is a battle that will take him to Aerune's very domain in underhill to decide the victor..
