Review Summaries
"Sorcerer Merlin, son of Corwin, has been kidnapped and left alone in a cavern of blue stone that prevents him from using his magical abilities. He eventually breaks free, and pursues his ex-girlfriend Julia's killer. Luke, Merlin's former friend and the man who trapped him in the blue caverns, is involved in Julia's death and the repeated attempts on Merlin's life in some way, but the specifics are unknown. Merlin is in a very special position, as he is descended from the royalty of both Chaos and Order, and can use the powers of both (the Pattern of Order, and the Logrus of Chaos). As he tracks down the unknown hand behind Julia's death, Merlin begins to realize that his troubles are only a part of a larger conflict between the forces of Order and Chaos."
