Review Summaries
"Robbie is a 10 year old spoiled brat. He is used to getting nice, expensive gifts for his birthday, so he is mad when this year he only gets something simple instead of the mountain bike he wanted. He knows that his father has recently lost his job, but he doesn't care, he wants his bike and that's it. He throws a fit, sulks, and goes to bed. As he watches a meteor shower that night, still angry at his parents, he makes a rash wish upon one of the falling stars. On the next day Robbie's father gets his job back, and Robbie gets his bike. As he happily rides his new toy, he has totally forgotten about his yesterday's silly wish… But the star hasn't. Robbie crashes into a fallen tree trunk, knocks himself out, and wakes up in a whole different world, a world filled with dinosaurs. Not only that, he is no longer a 10 year old boy – he is a newborn Brontosaur. Yes, this is something he wished for… Only he had no idea how scary it was going to be. Robbie is terrified. He is alone and helpless, without any idea what kinds of monsters this world is filled with and whether he can ever “undo” his wish. He probably wouldn't have survived very long if it wasn't for Bronella, an older Brontosaur who befriends him. Bronella teaches Robbie about this world and how to deal with its greatest danger: the Terrible Ones, the flesh-eating dinosaurs who will eat anything they can catch. "
