"Caractitus Potts, a father of two young children with less than adequate inventing skills, purchases a run down racing car. After transforming it into a flying and floating car, he and his children, accompanied by the lovely Miss Truly Scrumptious, must fly to Vulgaria where a wicked King has imprisoned Granddad on the assumption that he can tell him how to build a flying car. On a arriving at Vulgaria, they notice the absance of children, there are none to be seen. Before this can be explained the children are tempted into the wicked Child Catcher's cart with the promise of ice cream and lolipops. Caracticus and Scrumptious battle to find them and, while doing so, discover all of the towns children in hiding, from the evil Baroness that wants rid of them all. In an attempt to rescue their child, and release all those in hiding, they develop an ingenious plan. They sneak into the palace, dressed as dolls for a performance to celebrate the Baronesses' birthday. "
