Review Summary
This is a post-nuclear holocaust story, reminiscent of the Mad Max movies. Like that series, there is a basic commodity that everyone needs but doesn't have enough of--water. Whoever has it will control the Meridian valley. Enter Nomad, played by Patrick Swayze. He is an ex-soldier who survived the holocaust. His friend and mentor in the martial arts, Cord, is killed by the evil Sho, played by Anthony Zerbe. Nomad follows him there to get revenge. He just happens to meet Kasha, played by Lisa Niemi, his real-life wife. Her husband died in the war and she is trying to make a go of a farm by herself. Brion James plays her friend, who also helps out on the farm. She also has a young son. Nomad helps her out while he bides his time waiting to get revenge for the death of his friends. In the meantime, Sho tries to gain control of the course of water that Kasha has on her property. A showdown is the ultimate result.
