Review Summary
Dess Parok is a captain in the Anderan military forces who is in the middle of fighting a war against The Horde, horribly disfigured beings who are invading the cities of Andera through erratic unseen portals. He and girlfriend Commander Raina Mohrain go in search of the origin of these portals and discover a deserted city, evidence of a great and highly advanced civilization. The army commissions Dr. Kanston to determine who lived in the city, where it came from and how, if at all, it could be connected to the portals. Meanwhile, both Dess and Raina are called back to base as a major onslaught from the The Horde is about to begin. In the midst of battling an awesome juggernaught, Raina is taken prisoner by The Horde and transported through the portals. Dess must go through the portals into unknown terrain to rescue his beloved Raina and find a way to destroy The Horde and save his people.
