Review Summaries
"DEAD HEAT is a New World production directed by Mark Goldblat in 1988. L.A. detectives Mortis and Bigelow are investigating a series of robberies involving a bunch of criminals who seem impermeable to bullets. Their investigation leads them to a strange laboratory where Mortis is killed. He's brought back to life by his friends who use the invention hidden in this laboratory. Now Mortis is alive again but not for long. It seems that he has only eight hours to live before his tissues start to decompose. Nevertheless, Mortis will have the time to find out who's employing this new technology to bring back dead people to life and use them to commit robberies. Meanwhile, he's slowly turning into a ... zombie. "
