Review Summaries
" The beginning of this story starts with the main character and her younger sister finding a dead body in their home. The manner in which the person died is puzzling, and instantly ignites her curiosity, as well as dread. They are unable to locate any people; the town is mysteriously empty, and they start to sense that something is undeniably wrong. Searching homes, they discover more bodies in the same fashion as the one in their abode, and they start to feel afraid. After having some trouble with the phone lines, they are finally able to ring for help, which arrives shortly. Once help arrives, the mystery starts to deepen. One by one, people are disappearing, returning to life reanimated, and impossible creatures begin to attack. The survivors, rapidly dwindling, search frantically for a way to defeat their unseen enemy. At last their enemy reveals itself, and through ingenious thinking, the survivors are able to devise a plan of attack on their seemingly undefeatable adversary. "
