Review Summary
This is the first of a three-part miniseries, detailing the life of Han Solo before he met Luke Skywalker. Raised to be a thief, Han escapes from his childhood kidnappers and tries to become rich and "respectable." Unfortunately, the only work he can find is smuggling. But Han discovers his heroic streak when he happens upon a group of enslaved humans, kept captive by mind control. With the help of a sidekick (not Chewie) and a love interest (not Leia), he attempts to free the slaves.
