Review Summary
A group of wondering nomads is known as "Juggers". Sallow, the leader, moves his team from village to village in a pursuit of playing a post apocalyptic game which involves trying to stick a dog's skull on a pole. Kidda is a challenger who, after a terrible injury to one of the Sallow's team mates decides to join forces with his team. She learns that Sallow, who is now disgraced by scandal, was once a successful and respected Jugger. She convinces him they can once again be champions in the game. Eventually, Sallow decides go to where the best of the best dwells. It's in an underground society, but this society is sinister and is even less moral than the wondering nomadic life they were leading. Kidda, the team inspiration is presented with an opportunity to carry the dog Skull to victory.
