Review Summaries
"Having finished her first year as a probationer, Keladry of Mindelan turns 11 and is the first official female page in centuries. However many older pages are still against 'The Girl' and plot mischievous deeds against her and her growing number of friends in the Kingdom of Tortall. Many trials stand in her way during her years as a page; she struggles to conquer her fear of heights, rages war against hazing (abuse of younger pages by senior pages or squires) thus becoming the protector of the small, discovers her talents in leadership among bandits and in the final plot rescues her kidnapped maid and dog."
