Review Summaries
"It is Christmas Eve and the workers at the Fernley House office building are celebrating. A lightening storm begins and when a maintenance worker in the building's basement becomes afraid of the boilers exploding, he races to tell the office workers but he finds everyone to have disappeared. The only trace of human life left behind is a severed hand. The maintenance man alerts the police and that is when Detective Cardiff is called in to investigate. Cardiff is a man with his own problems but what he finds at the office building makes him very nervous. A body of one of the office workers falls from the sky many miles away and an older woman who was at one point attending a party turns up on the street with the hunger for human flesh. This is just the beginning. Those who were absorbed into the walls during a phenomenon called Darkfall are about to come back altered and with the taste for humans. To make matters worse, scientists from a government agency with ulterior motives know quite a bit about Darkfall but they aren't telling Cardiff. It is up to Cardiff and a couple others to find out on there own what Darkfall really is and how they can escape before they are doomed to suffer the same fate as the others who have returned."
