"Sarah (Lori Cardille) and her scientist friends are held up in an underground bunker with military officers lead by Capt. Rhodes (Joseph Pilato). The lead scientist Dr. Logan(Richard Liberty) conducts experiments to find a solution to the epidemic, but results were slow and minimal except for his prize pupil Bub (Sherman Howard). The final conflict comes when Capt. Rhodes catches Dr.Logan feeding Bub one of his dead soldiers. Considered the worst of the dead trilogy with the socio-political subtext (somewhat of a scifi cliche with the real world tension between science and the military) Day Of The Dead still delivers great special effects for the gore hounds. "
