Review Summaries
"After a mutant attack on the president, the president sends Styker to destroy all mutants, during the time when mutants are being hated throughout society. Stryker is able to obtain Cerebro, the machine that connects to the world, and plans on using it to destroy the mutants. So the X-Men unite and try to stop Stryker."
Jack Bauer, Resident Scholar

"After an attack on the President, the government calls for registration of mutants, and scientist William Stryker uses the opportunity to puruse his own plan to track down and eliminate all mutants. As the good mutants fight growing persecution and predjudice, Professor X finds he must ally with Magneto to prevent destruction of the mutants. Meanwhile, Wolverine sets out on a quest to discover who he is, and why he was surgically altered and enhanced, and to settle once and for all the questions of identity that plague him. "
Horta, Resident X-Men Scholar

"The Government, spooked by an attack on the president by a mutant, hands power over to military man Striker, who happens to be behind the attack. Striker wants to destroy all the mutants, so he uses his evil mutant son to obtain information from Magneto about Dr. Xavier. Xavier is kidnapped by Striker and a SWAT team is sent to contain Xavier's school for the gifted. Wolverine and some of the students escape and regroup with Jean Grey, Cyclopse, Storm, and Nightcrawler. Meanwhile, Magneto escapes from jail and offers to join forces with the X-men to rescue Xavier. Things go rather smoothly until the X-men realize that Magneto, being true to his human-hating self, has turned Striker's sceme to kill all mutants into one that will kill all humans. "

"The X-Men are back! After a mutant attempted to assasinate the president, he calls in William Stryker (Cox) to solve the mutant problem by any means necessary. Meanwhile, Logan/Wolverine (Jackman) tried to discover his past at Alkali lake, only to find it deserted. He comes back to the Xavier school for gifted youngsters while Professor Charles Xavier (Stewert) and Scott Summers/Cyclops (James Marsden) go off to see if their old enemy, Eric Lensherr/Magneto (McKellen), knows anything about the assasination attempt. Meanwhile, Jean Grey (Famke Jannsen) and Ororo Munroe/Storm (Berry) find the would be assasin to be not at all what he seems. Kurt Wagner, a.k.a. Nightcrawler (Cumming) is really a devout christian and was apparently brainwashed by Stryker! This same method is what keeps his secretary Lady Deathstrike (Kelly Hu) in check, and what made Magneto bend to his will. Sure enough, Stryker seiged the mansion with Wolverine, Rogue (Anna Paquin), Bobby Drake/Iceman (Shawn Ashmore), and John allerdyce/Pyro (Aaron Stanford) barely escaping. Stryker has built a mock-up of Xavier's machine "Cerebro", and has captured Xavier to get back at him and all mutantkind for not being able to "cure" his mutant son. Soon, the X-men meet up with Magneto, who has broken out of prison, and his right-hand woman, the shape-shifting Raven Darkholme/Mystique (Rabecca Romijn-Stamos). They form an alliance against the common enemy, and Wolverine, Jean Grey, Storm, Rogue, Nightcrawler, Magneto, Mystique, Iceman, and Pyro return to the Alkali flats, which wasn't as abandoned as once thought..."
