Review Summaries
"The world is now divided into three different class of peopl : the humans who are ruled by the dictator Kier Gray, then there is the second generation of Slans, mutants who are hidden among the humans and who are waiting for an occasion to overthrow Kier Gray and, finally, the first generation of Slans, mutants who are able to read thoughts and who are hated by the two other groups because they once ruled the earth. Jommy Cross is a Slan of the first generation who's desperately searching for the inventions and the scientific papers of his late father. He will discover by himself that the human society is infiltrated by the Slans of the second generation who are secretly building massive weapons on Mars. Jommy will have to hide from them as well as from humans. He'll soon understand that the only way to prevent a global war is to meet Kier Gray. But how will he enter the palace of the dictator? "
