Review Summary
Wallace has just invented a revolutionary sheep shearing/sweater knitting machine, but times are hard and there's a wool shortage going on, so he and Grommit have to supplement their income with a window-washing service. Their new client is Wendolyn, proprieter of a yarn shop, who suspiciously always has an ample supply of wool despite the wool shortage. Meanwhile, Wallace and Grommit's home is invaded by a stray sheep who has just narrowly escaped from a truckload of stolen sheep. Wallace and Grommit come home to find their home in near ruins and their food supply decimated by the hungry sheep. Wallace decides to give the sheep a bath and puts him in his new Knit-O-Matic machine to give him a quick wash. Unfortunately the machine still has a few bugs and shaves the sheep bald. Wallace names the sheep Sean and lets him wear the sweater knitted by the machine so he won't catch cold. Evil eyes witness the accident and a plot is formed to steal the machine. But not for sweater knitting- for dog food production! Wendolyn and her robot dog have been stealing sheep to stay economically afloat during the wool shortage, but now the robot is malfunctioning and wants to make dog food from the sheep. Grommit is framed for the sheep murders and gets life. Sean knows he's innocent and with the help of Wallace and a herd of sheep, busts Grommit out of jail. then Wallce, Wendolyn and the sheep are captured by the evil robot dog and face being turned into dog food. Grommit heroically comes to the rescue and thwarts the robot's evil plans.
