Review Summary
The first in Nick Park's excellent stop animation Wallace and Grommit trilogy. Wallace, a bald inventor with a cheese fetish, decides that it's time he and Grommit, his genius dog, took a holiday. But where to go. Discovering that he has exhausted his supply of cheese, Wallace decides that the ideal vacation spot would have to have lots of cheese, and what better place to go than the moon. With Grommit's help, Wallace contructs a rocket ship and they, with only a few minor setbacks, blast off and land sucessfully on the moon. Once they've arrived, they begin sampling the moon's "cheese" and accidentally awaken an until-recently dormant robot who doesn't like how they're defacing the landscape.
