Review Summary
PHENOMENA (aka CREEPERS) is a movie written and directed by Dario Argento in 1985.

Switzerland. Jennifer Connelly has just arrived in the Richard Wagner boarding school. She suffers from sleep-walking and has the strange ability to mentally communicate with insects. For months now, young women are savagely murdered by a psychotic killer in the neighborhood. So, when Jennifer's roommate disappears, she decides to help Donald Pleasence, a scottish scientist, to find the killer by studying the behaviour of the insects around them. Pleasence, who can't leave his wheelchair, lives alone with a smart monkey in the forest nearby. But will the killer wait for the two amateur detectives or decide to eliminate them ?

A giallo with good fantasy elements.
