Review Summaries
" Upon arriving at a new home and a new town, Sarah Bailey soon finds herself once again the outcast at another school. However, this time, someone has taken notice of her, and quite fittingly it's a group of outcasts, rumored to be witches. Sarah soon finds herself in the midst of learning magic along with her new friends and cohorts. Unfortuantely, these girls are misinterpreting "the craft", using it for personal gain, and revenge, which as we all know will end in tragedy for someone. Nancy, the self initiated leader of the group takes the craft way too far, and in some ways becomes addicted to it, constantly needing a fix and always needing more. "

"This movie is about a young woman called Sarah who moves to a new town and school and eventually makes friends with three outcasts. She finds that they practice witchcraft and with her joining to make four they can now do some serious magic. Together they discover the power of magic and use it to get what they want and revenge for those who have done them wrong. Sarah wants one of the boy's in school to fall in love with her who took advantage of her when she first arrived. He increasingly becomes obsessed with her. The second witch asks for revenge against a racist girl who is picking on her. The third (Campbell) asks to have her burn scars removed and the fourth witch, Nancy asks for all the horrible things in her life to be gone. They soon find that what they ask for has consequences and can come back on them times three. Nancy invokes the spirit Mena and becomes extremely powerful and can walk on water. This makes her even more unstable than usual and leads to the death of her ex and Sarah's love interest (Ulrich). Sarah tries to stop Nancy but all three witches have turned bad and use her past of attempted suicide to try and kill her. As she lies dying from forced cut wrists she has to face her fear of controlling the power and invokes Mena herself. She discovers that she is a natural witch as her mother was one. She then goes up against Nancy telling her Mena isn't happy that she has abused her power. This leads to a magical fight as the finale. At the end we see that they have lost their power all except Sarah who tells the other two to mind what they say- no such thing as witches as they don't want to end up like Nancy. We then see Nancy restrained in a mental hospital saying that she can fly over and over again. A brilliant film with spectacular special effects and a great soundtrack. This film will make you want to hop on to your broomsticks! "
