| Review Summary |
This is the third novel of the Uplift Trilogy, but like the previous two, it stands on its own. In response to a human discovery, the Gubru race has taken a human colony world captive. Robert, the son of the planetary administrator, and Athaclena, the daughter of an alien ambassador, are the only patrons left free on the planet. With the uplifted chimps, they plan a guerilla war that has unexpected results.
