"This is a novelisation based on the television series "Angel". It is about Angel, his friends and employees: Cordelia and Doyle who have set up an Investigation agency to help Angel in his main mission to save souls.
In this particular story, Angel is assigned to protect Whitney Tyler a popular TV actress who stars in a cult series as a vampire. However she starts receiving trouble when a cult believe that she is a real vampire and attempts are made on her life.
While Cordelia and Doyle are glad of the money she's paying them and the chance of rubbing elbows with celebrity's Angel has to contend with his past. Whitney Tyler is a spitting image of a young woman he met in his past as evil Angelus and the scourge of Europe. He keeps it to himself shrugging it off to coincidence. But when Whitney's life is put in danger again Angel Investigations uncover a clue which leads them to an ancient cult sworn to battle creatures of the night. Angel must find the connection to the woman he once knew to the one he must now protect.
A great novel that explores more of Angel's dark past and the troubles that can come back to haunt him, sometimes literally!"
