The tragic life of high school student Carrie White comes to a head when she has her first period in gym class and is humiliated by her peers. Her mother doesn't make life much easier for Carrie when she locks her in a closet for hours. Everybody treats Carrie like a rag mop, but what they don't know is that she has telekinetic abilities that are growing stronger every day.
