When the company lost the franchise on the colony world, everyone was told they had to leave. Ofelia has always been told what to do, and she consider this place her home, and she will not leave. She hides when everybody leaves. When the new settlers arrive and land, they are all killed by aliens that no one knew were there. Now it is up to Ofelia to save the aliens from Earth's revenge.
