| Review Summary |
Set in the mythical city of Agrabah, the story follows a street-smart street-rat named Aladdin (Weinger) and his best friend, a monkey named Abu (Welker). Aladdin falls in love with the free-spirited Princess Jasmine (Larkin)-Dispite a law that says she can only wed a royal sutor. Aladdin's luck changes when, lured and unwittingly trapped in the Cave of Wonders, when he finds an old lamp. With one rub, he releases a fun-loving, wisecracking Genie (Williams) who tuns him into a prince! But the evil sorcerer and royal vassier Jafar (Freeman), and his rude parrot Iago (Gottfried), also crave the lamp's power. It was Jafar, dressed as a begger, who lured Aladdin into the Cave of Wonders, for a "Diamond in the Rough" is needed to enter the cave. Aladdin must thwart Jafar if he ever wants to live happily ever after with the princess! A hilarious Disney movie.
