This is one of those classic body switching episodes, only thing episode has a LOT of body switching. An alien attack inexplicably causes everyone to shift bodies, notably Creighton into Aeryn's body, Aeryn into Rygel's body, and Rygel into Creighton's body. They spend some time puzzling over this and figuring out what happens. It seems when the alien weaponry interacts with the defense shield that it causes them to shift out of their bodies. No explanation is ever offered as to why that happens. Meanwhile, Zhaan is a prisoner of the attacking aliens, long black snouty nosed aliens who at first pretend to be victims but actually turn out to be aggressors. Zhaan escapes from confinement by turning her hand into tiny bones so she can slip through the handcuffs. One wonders, however, why she didn't use any of her psychic powers instead to bend the cuffs or her attackers. There are some cute moments in this episode, such as when Rygel, watching a visiting alien vomit on the deck, says, "That's quite all right, I had to pee in the maintenance bay". and when Creighton, in Aeryn's body, stops to admire and jiggle his/her breasts. There were also some disturbing scenes, such as when Chianna, in Dargo's body, comes on to Rygel, in Creighton's body. It was also funny watching them wear the cute little pictures of themselves so we would know who was who; but as the pictures were out of camerashot most of the time, it was a bit hard to keep track. Overall, though, it was a very amusing episode. | ||||||||
