(click here) TV-Commentary - Andromeda Rommy takes a download from her android boyfriend and catches a computer virus Did you see the episode where Rommy falls in love with an android in about FIFTEEN SECONDS after he comes on the ship? Why is Rommy so desperate for love? After the Android gives her some good cybersex, he plants a computer virus in her. To cure her, Dylan zaps Rommy in the groin with his force lance. This enjoyable but goofy episode points out one of the biggest flaws of the shows--ships with emotions. As Rommy points out, other high guard ships with emotions have gone crazy because of their emotions. Why does a high guard ship like Andromeda need emotions? It can be programmed to carry out orders without feeling them. Instead we have a lovesick ship's computer....
