Hi Suzanne. I'm so excited to hear your ideas about the sequel. Can't wait!!!!! Your fan Megan

Hello Suzanne, i absolutley died for Distant Waves. It made me want to see a movie on it. Although it takes a while to write a novel, I am anticipating a sequel. I finsished the book yesterday and I kept reading the last few pages to myself. I also read the pages when Thad and Jane were together. I love this book and I cant stop thinking about it. If you end up deciding you do want to write a sequel,I will buy the first copy that comes out. I am urging you to write one. But if there is no sequel, I am looking forward to a movie. Either way, i enjoyed this book and it will be in my mind forever.-Elizabeth

Hi Everyone, As always, thanks so much for writing. I'm thinking that with America about to be involved in WW1 that Thad and Jane will have some obstacles in the way of their wedding. Maybe Thad enlists. Jane might want to be a war correspondent just to be near him. What about Amelie-Em becoming a translater-for the dead? Just some thoughts, subject to change. That's the creative process for you. So hold those good thoughts about a sequel because I would love to write one. Also, in terms of future projects, I am coming out in March 2010 with a new horse series for younger students(3rd to 6th gr) called Wildwood Stables. And am in the process if revising my next novel for young adults coming out in fall 2010. It doesn't have a title yet. Love you all, Suzanne

Hi Suzanne! I haven't seen the video on your website but I saw it on you tube. I can't believe your going to talk to your editor about writing a sequel :). I can't wait til it cones out.

I would love to know if there is a sequel to your amazing book, Distant Waves. I mean, you just left us standing there, waiting to see if Jane and Thad get married. I love it!

The commentator Miranda posts on 11/3/2009 4:42:47 PM

I did! It makes me want to see a movie about it. That would be interesting...

suzanne posts on 11/3/2009 11:17:35 AM

Thanks Megan, Miranda, and Madison! I'm going to send your thoughts to my editor and let him know how you feel. If I can get Scholastic onboard for a sequel, I would love to write it. Those girls--Thad and Tesla, too-- are definitely very much alive in my head. DW was one of the best, most fluid writing experiences I've ever had. I am thrilled beyond words that you liked the book so much. Did you watch the video on my web site? Love, Suzanne

The commentator Miranda posts on 11/2/2009 5:19:52 PM

Hi Suzanne... again! In school we are sending letters to our favorite authors and I was wondering if you could tell me where you send letters to you to. I've been looking everywhere but I couldn't find anything. And I agree with Madison and Megan! Please consider making a novel or tell somebody to make it into a movie or something!

Hi Suzanne! I really enjoyed the book Distant Waves. I wanted to ask you if you could write a sequel to the book. I think there's so much you could write about. Everyday I want to know what happens next. Thank you for writing this book. Megan

The commentator Miranda posts on 10/29/2009 6:21:22 PM

Hi Suzanne!!! I read Distant Waves and I instantly fell in love with it! Ever since I read it, i've been obsessed with the Titanic. I may only be a 5th grader but I suggest you writing a sequal. I would love to hear about Jane,Thad,Mimi,Amelie-Em, and Tesla. I would also love for Distant Waves to become a movie. Talk to you soon. Maybe even e-mail me, if you don't mind! :) I really want to read some of your other books, too. They sound good! Your young fan, Miranda

suzanne posts on 10/26/2009 1:42:30 PM

Hi Gerald. Thanks for writing. I'm so delighted you liked Distant Waves so much. The things I discovered about the past, especially about the scientist Nikola Tesla and about the Titanic really got me excited. Tesla lived to be quite old and never stopped working on new things, so his stoy could go on for a long time. I'm thinking hard about a book that is either a sequel or a similar kind of book. Meanwhile, you might also like my book Reincarnation becuse it also deals with the past. Thanks again for writing. Suzanne

This was one of thebest books i have read. The thing that i like about it is that it gives information about the past.If you write any more books like this tell me. THANKS FOR THE BEST SUMMER BOOK.

suzanne posts on 10/19/2009 1:40:31 PM

Thanks, Ash. I'm thrilled that you loved it so much. If you'd like to see a short video about it you can go to my home page at suzanne weyn books dot com, all one word, and click watch a video on the DW page. In fact, I am very much thinking of a sequal to it. It seems to me that the Taylor sisters have a longer story to tell and they're still very alive to me. Thanks so much for writing.

Ash posts on 10/17/2009 6:17:14 PM

Hi Suzanne. I just bought your book distant waves yesterday and finished it an hour ago!!! What a heartfelt, romantic, somewhat tragic story!! I was drawn in! captivated even! Please consider writing a sequel. I know that it's not that kind of story, when you can just make a second one. But I fell in love with it! Thank you, Ash

suzanne weyn posts on 9/12/2009 11:02:23 PM

So far no movie and no third book. It's so great that so many readers want it, though. I really appreciate that kind of support. Thanks for reading Bar Code and now the sequel. So glad you liked Bar Code.

Valery posts on 9/2/2009 6:53:54 PM
