Favorite scene in favorite book and why?
"I think the "there is a man / playing a violin / and the strings / are the nerves in his own arm" page in J. O'Barr's "The Crow", for the sheer intensity of emotion. The denouement in Pratchett's "Jingo" comes close though, for the unimitable feeling of both bursting with laughter and every piece of the puzzle falling into place" -
Beth Winter, Resident Scholar
