Review Summaries
"When Bobbi Anderson finds a strange metal disc in the ground, she starts to notice she can think clearer and has been given certain supernatural abilities. Especially when it comes to building and creating things. As she begins to excavate this massive disc made of an unearthly metal, stranger things begin to happen; kids begin to disappear, people commit suicide, and the town seems as if it's under a spell. Before long these somethings, which are never really explained have taken control of the small town of Haven. Are they Alien Ghosts? The only man whose seems immune to the mind control is Jim Gardener an alcoholic poet with a metal plate in his head who seems to be the only one capable of stopping these invisible body snatchers."
Joseph DeMarco, Resident Stephen King Scholar

"Main character is driven over the edge by a "force" that communicates with her through her mind. This force takes over the entire town. All except the main character's boyfriend. He is not affected by the Tommyknockers because he has a metal plate in his head. He sees the town going crazy, working on thier "project" in the woods. Very strange yet gripping novel."
Erika Michelle, Resident Stephen King Scholar
