Review Summary
JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS is a movie directed in 1963 by Don Chaffey with special effects created by Ray Harryhausen. Pelias has invaded Thessalia Kingdom but the son of the King, Jason, protected by the goddess Hera, survives and comes back 20 years later in Thessalia. Cheated by Pelias, Jason, with a crew formed by the best men of Greece, including Hercules, navigates the Mediterranean Sea searching for the Golden Fleece that brings luck to the land that hosts it. Jason will have to fight the Harpies, a giant bronze Titan, an animated skeleton army and an hydra before reaching his goal.
