Review Summaries
"In a continuation of the Pyrdain Chronicles, Taran seeks the Mirror of Llunet which he hopes will reveal his parent's identity and establish his lineage. Along the way he encounters a number of adventures: he must help King Smoit make peace among rival lords, defeat the wicked wizard Morda, fight Dorath and his band of outlaws, sacrifice a gift to help save an imposter, and learn the skills of potter, smith, and weaver. Eventually Taran finds the Mirror, but has learned that identity is more than a matter of bloodline. "
Charles Brown, Resident Lloyd Alexander Scholar

"Taran, a foundling, leaves home to find his parents. Along the way, he meets many adults who become foster-parents to him, teaching him skills or helping him hone the skills he already has. Finally, he meets his father... or does he?"
Shade, Resident Lloyd Alexander Scholar
