Review Summaries
"In this last book of “The Immortals” quartet, Veralidaine and her sorcerer friend-teacher Numair are placed into the realms of the gods. There Veralidaine reunites with her mother and finds out who her father is, the author's rendition of a sort of Pan god. In order to return back to earth, where war is raging amongst humans and immortals, Daine and Numair have to travel to the Dragonlands. During their trek, they come to recognize the feelings they have for one other. When they return back to their world, they are swept away by the roles they play in the raging war, even if many immortals are vanquished and banned to the Immortal's world once again. Daine also manages to defeat her enemy, the once human emperor-turned stormwing, Ozorne."
