Review Summaries
"Chet Kinsman is the commander of the first lunar base. He shares a dome with the Russians, and the two groups have become close friends. When tensions between Russia and the United States arise on Earth, Kinsman declares the indenpendence of the moonbase Selene while Earth declares war on the moon."
Tyler Volz, Resident Ben Bova Scholar

"Bill Smith is an airplane crash investigator who has noticed something very unusual during his most recent assignment. All the pieces don't add up, so to speak. In the far future, the government doesn't want Smith getting any closer to the truth, so they send back Louise Baltimore to make sure the secret stays a secret - and to make sure no paradoxes occur. What's the secret? The Earth, in the future, is a disaster - plagues and genetic abnormalities have caused so much damage to the human genome that the only way to save the species is to import people from the past. And the only people that can be brought forward without causing anomalies are people who are supposed to be dead - like air crash victims."
Ivy, Resident John Varley Scholar

"A time travel book with an unusual concept. In a polluted future, the only way the human race will survive is by snatching healthy, undiseased people from the past. To avoid paradox's these people are snatched from situations where they are historically known to die, without being seen by others again (plane crash, bermuda triangle etc.). The story follows a modern day air crash investigator finding inconsistencies in a crash because of these travellers. What he discovers could cause a paradox, and an agent is sent from the future to stop him, without disrupting the time-line........ "
Andrew Banks, Resident John Varley Scholar
