Review Summaries
"Military technology has reached the stage where most strategic spying is done by psychics. In the same way that the connection of computers created 'another world', cyberspace, the link-up of the minds of hundreds of people also creates its own kind of reality space, a kind of 'psychospace'. N.A.T.O. and the Euro Army are currently at war with Russia and China. Jack Banks, a psychic of the British Army is assigned to obtain information as to the military plans of the enemy. This is a routine operation, involving his mental connection to the 'psychospace' and his reaching the consciousness of th enemy. To do this, he does not even need to leave the lab in England. However, in his headhe faces a devastating mental battle. He encounters the mind of a man not known to the army: a man skilled in mental combat. Mental combat is a horrible business. Any object can be willed into existence with enough concentration. Lose concentration for a second, and the enemy will have access to your entire mind: your hates, your weaknesses, your fears and... ...your secrets What secrets are buried deep inside the mind of Jack's companion, Harry? Was there more to his wife's death than meets the eye?"
