Review Summaries
"A person with magical powers tries to save others."
Samer Ismail, Resident Dean Koontz Scholar

"One of Dean Koontz's bestsellers...unfortunately it doesn't live up to the hype. Jim Ironheart recently began having visions about people dying in the near future. Jim goes on a one man crusade to save these people. A reporter, Holly, witnesses Jim saving a small boy from a drunk driver. Holly falls in love with Jim, and tries to help him uncover the origins of his amazing power. The book started out very well, and was quite suspenseful. Unfortunately, it deteriorated into a stupid story about uncovering the past, with some romance thrown in. After the first third of the book was over, there was very little action to keep the reader interested until the end. I would reccomend reading Dean Koontz, but avoid Cold Fire. "
James Xavier, Resident Dean Koontz Scholar
