In a post-apocalyptic desert, The Water & Power company crushes the last band of free spirits, capturing Tank Girl. She and Jet Girl escape, stealing a Tank and a Jet. They meet up with some genetically combined human Kangaroos, with whom they party, fall in love, and together assault the fortress of W&P. This is one of the better movies based on a comic book, the original being a British series by the same name. Certain scenes are connected by animated sequences that add to the crazy, frenetic, fun nature of the film.
