| Review Summary |
In the high-adventure 1930's, A young heroine and her loyal French maid seek a legendary butterfly her father disappeared trying to find. They meet a cynical sailor/adventurer in a slimy, decadent Asian port city, and together they travel through jungles and deserts, facing river pirates, cannibals, and other perils, until they find a fantastic hidden culture of women. Very loosely based on a comic by bondage/fetish writer/artist/publisher John Coutts (aka John Willie), there is much bondage and nudity. The TV version of this movie cuts out all objectionable footage, making the end of the film hard to follow, and fills the time with more dialogue and comedy.
