| Review Summary |
This movie was a creation by the great master mind Jim Henson, along with Wendy Froud, who created the main charactors, The Gelflings, and Brian Froud who's artistic talent had come to life with his drawings of all the other memorable creatures, such as The Well known Mystics, and The Evil Skeksis. This movie takes you into Another World, Another Time in The Age of Wonder. In this movie there is a fight between good and evil, and a wonderful love between the last two gelfing alive. Jen and Kira, realized that together they could find out the truth about their world and fight to keep it pure, to heal The Dark Crystal.

Your traditional good versus bad movie, and a chosen one to make everything right again. Henson's magic is at work here as one of his best. Appeals to children and adults alike. This movie has everything, a little humour, a little romance, festivities and action.

The only remaining Gelfling couple must battle the evil, ugly, Skesis ruler to save the Dark Crystal from staying dark forever. Some of the greatest puppetry I'v ever seen. (Great for kids not freaked out by scarey faced monster puppets.)
