Review Summary
This is a novelization of the Gun on Ice Planet Zero. The Cylons built a big laser cannon on a planet and have herded the Galactica within range of it using their Baseships. So Apollo is sent down with a strike team of convicts and comic relief (Boxy & Muffy) to blow up the cannon. Starbuck comes along to flirt with some female clones they find along the way.

This is the novelization of the classic late 70's movie. It details the story of the betrayal where the Cylons, under a banner of peace, launch a surprise attack which destroys almost all of humanity. The survivors, on the Battlestar Galactica, head off in search of the mystical planet Earth, dogged along the way by the attacking Cylon fleets.
