Heading up the group of peace-loving mutants is Charles Xavier, head professor of a school for the gifted, which also fronts a secret mutant superhero club of X-men. The X-men fight Magneto and his gang of mutant thugs to prevent him from carrying out his plans to turn all humans into mutants. "
