science fiction

Cleo is seen running from a betrayer. The betrayer catches up to her, but Cleo distracts her by telling her that her shoelaces are untied. Cleo escapes again and catches up to Hal and Sarge... who find that now there are two Cleo's tagging along with them.

Obviously, one of them is a betrayer.

The new Cleo claims she was kept a prisoner in the betrayer factory and has been trying for weeks to find her way back to Hal and Sarge. Hal wonders if they've been keeping company with a betrayer for weeks, and they go back and forth until they run a carbon dating test to determine which one is real and which is a betrayer.

But when they do locate the betrayer, they find it hasn't received its final programming so isn't yet programmed to betray them. Cleo has a girl-to-girl talk with her double about how cute Mauser is, but is interrupted by the arrival of the original betrayer who blasts up the lab; they are only saved by the Cleo betrayer, who zaps the other betrayer with her arm guns.

This episode has a lot of funny lines, such as when Cleo I says, "Remember how we had a slumber part together?" And Cleo II says, "You had a slumber party with a betrayer?" or when Cleo II wants to change out of her clothes and Cleo I inquires what betrayers are wearing this time of year.
